At Valor & Honor Outdoors, we are proud to partner with CARRY THE LOAD, a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating our nation’s heroes. Together, we strive to support veterans, active military, first responders, and their families through meaningful events and initiatives.
About CARRY THE LOAD
CARRY THE LOAD is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide active, meaningful ways to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes — military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Founded in 2011 by two veteran U.S. Navy SEALs, CARRY THE LOAD has grown into a nationwide movement with events and programs that connect Americans to the sacrifices of our heroes.
Their mission is to preserve the sanctity of Memorial Day through community gatherings and storytelling, uniting Americans in appreciation for the sacrifices made by a few who carried the load for all. CARRY THE LOAD offers various programs throughout the year, including Memorial May, Patriot Day, and Veterans Day events, as well as the Continuum of Care program that collaborates with corporate and nonprofit partners to provide essential services to our heroes.

This year marks our second year as a proud nonprofit partner of CARRY THE LOAD. Over the past two years, we have worked together to honor and support our nation’s heroes through various events and initiatives. Our partnership has allowed us to amplify our impact and reach more individuals who need our support. We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with CARRY THE LOAD and look forward to continuing our efforts to make a difference.

Memorial Day Event
Join us for the Dallas Memorial March, CARRY THE LOAD‘s largest and signature event, held over Memorial Day weekend. This two-day event honors service members, first responders, and their families through a series of marches, rallies, and community gatherings. Participants have the opportunity to walk alongside others who share a commitment to honoring our nation’s heroes. The event is a powerful way to connect with the community, reflect on the sacrifices made by our heroes, and show your support.

Participate in Our Flag Placing Event
Sign up to participate in our Flag Placing Event at Quantico National Cemetery on May 18. This event is a powerful way to pay tribute to fallen service members and show your gratitude for their service. Volunteers will place flags on the graves of our nation’s heroes, creating a visual representation of our collective respect and remembrance. It’s a moving experience that allows you to connect with the legacy of those who have served and sacrificed. By participating, you help ensure that their memory is honored and preserved.
