Ways to Support

Every participant at Valor & Honor Outdoors is on full scholarship. Not a discount. Zero cost, always. That promise holds because people who will never meet the guest still show up for them anyway: a landowner opening a gate for nothing, a company keeping a guest in boots, a stranger handing over a boat that’s sat idle since last season.

Ninety-nine point nine cents of every dollar and every donated good reaches a guest directly. No committee decides where it goes. All goods reach a participant.

LAND & LEASE Donations

A field. A stand of timber. A stretch of water. This is where the work happens, not a facility, not a rental, ground somebody already loves enough to protect. If you have hunting ground, fishing water, or a place to camp, that access alone builds an environment where our participants can recreate the connections and bonds they experienced on deployments. It offers a space that duplicates the camaraderie found in team rooms prepping for a mission or shift, or the banter in a firehouse found between answering the call in our local communities.

GEAR Donations

Every rod. Every layer of cold-weather clothing. Every tent that doesn’t leak. Gear in a duck blind feeling ill-equipped to handle the often brutal weather of waterfowl season and being focused on the whistling wings strafing the decoy spread.  Our participants have experienced dealing with being improperly equipped during their deployments, if it’s sitting in your garage with season left in it, it belongs on a VHO participant, not in a tupperware bin.

Vehicles & Equipment Donations

A truck that can pull a boat. A trailer that can haul gear three hours out to a field with no hotel in sight. A Unility Vehicle or ATV can move a service disabled veteran easily to a deer stand, duck blind, or austere camp site. The right vehicle is what turns a plan on paper into guests standing in the field. If something road-ready or field-ready is sitting idle, it moves people. Parked, it moves nothing.

Professional Service Donations

A photographer who documents an event so it’s remembered right. A chef who teaches our guests to cook what they caught. A guide who donates a day of instruction instead of sending an invoice. A skill is still a contribution. We have exactly the place to use it.

Our Testimonials

From unforgettable outdoor experiences to the emotional connections forged, these stories inspire us to continue our mission of honoring and supporting our military heroes.

I 100% recommend VHO for others like us looking for a connecting experience and some dirt road time to wash off the politics, media, stress and business of life.

Navy SEAL Veteran

They are selfless, supportive and go the extra mile with every single experience they have to offer.

Active-Duty Service Member

The care that VHO puts into you, not just as a participant, but as a person, is staggering. I still talk to all the guys and staff from my hunt.

Active-Duty SOF Member

Not everyone is willing to take a severely injured veteran hunting. VHO found me, set everything up and made my trip about more than just ducks.

Wounded Warrior

Their attention to detail includes the smallest elements that make the excursion memorable for the rest of your life.

This trip and the team at VHO changed everything for me. It’s a rare thing to find people who care so deeply it radiates into everything they do.

Active-Duty Army Ranger

I would recommend VHO to anyone and I'm glad I got the experience I did. Looking forward to my next trip to VHO!

Rather than send men and women into the fire, I get to thank them for their brotherhood and witness them saving them from the fire.

SOF Colonel

VHO has taken me and multiple friends and colleagues out on hunting trips. Every single one has been exceptional and filled with great company.

The volunteers at VHO are patriots who care about taking care of people.

Active-Duty Service Member

Not only did they guide the hunt, but they were more than willing to share all their knowledge and teach us so that we could be more successful on our own.

Walking into a trip with strangers and instantly feeling like family is something rare. The hunting was amazing, but it was the people who made the experience unforgettable.

SOF Sergeant Major

I can't say enough good things about my experience. The comradery and friendships we built over 8 days of climbing mountains and packing up to 9,500 feet to set a spike camp were priceless.

The organization paid incredible attention to every detail, ensuring that the equipment, meals, and accommodation were all first-rate. This allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience
